This is the beginning of a two weeks series entitled VICE. Depending on where you grew up, your community of faith, or your family upbringing, we each have a list of things that we consider to be vices. For some it could be drinking, smoking, playing cards, women wearing short hair, the lottery, etc. We simply don’t have a book-chapter-verse in the Bible that ultimately condemns these things. So what do we do? Each of us, if asked to make a list of vices, would probably have a different list. Ultimately, anything that we look to (even good things) that end up being “God-things” in our life are vices. They become idols that distract us from the life God has called us to.

In this message we discuss Jesus’ admonition to love our wives as Christ loves the church and what that looks like in action as we discern and talk about meeting the emotional needs of our wife.
