Living Stones Church

This is the beginning of a two weeks series entitled VICE.  Depending on where you grew up, your community of faith, or your family upbringing, we each have a list of things that we consider to be vices.  For some it could be drinking, smoking, playing cards, women wearing short hair, the lottery, etc.  We simply don’t have a book-chapter-verse in the Bible that ultimately condemns these things.  So what do we do?  Each of us, if asked to make a list of vices, would probably have a different list.  Ultimately, anything that we look to (even good things) that end up being “God-things” in our life are vices.  They become idols that distract us from the life God has called us to.
