This is the second, and final, week of a series entitled Vice.  The second week is how we live together in the same community of faith even if we have different Vice lists.  How do we exercise our freedoms in Christ while at the same time insuring that we don't cause our brother or sister to misstep in their walk with Christ?  It is a study and discussion of the principles laid out by the apostle Paul in Romans 14 & 15.

This is the beginning of a two weeks series entitled VICE.  Depending on where you grew up, your community of faith, or your family upbringing, we each have a list of things that we consider to be vices.  For some it could be drinking, smoking, playing cards, women wearing short hair, the lottery, etc.  We simply don't have a book-chapter-verse in the Bible that ultimately condemns these things.  So what do we do?  Each of us, if asked to make a list of vices, would probably have a different list.  Ultimately, anything that we look to (even good things) that end up being "God-things" in our life are vices.  They become idols that distract us from the life God has called us to.
